In addition to our laparoscopic procedures, we perform a variety of routine and non-routine soft tissue surgeries, including but not limited to:
- Spays and Neuters
- Mass Removals
- Gastrointestinal procedures
- Bladder surgeries
- Abdominal exploratories
- Eye and ear surgeries
Our surgical suite is equipped with the latest in technology, including a state-of-the-art patient monitoring system and a large digital x-ray viewing screen. The room is specially vented with a one-way air flow system that reduces the risk of cross-contamination from any other area in the building.
Each patient undergoing a surgical procedure is given a full physical examination prior to being sedated. Other diagnostics, such as pre-operative bloodwork, are performed when indicated. While under anesthesia, the patient’s physical parameters are monitored by a surgical technician who stays with the patient throughout surgery and recovery until they are fully awake. The patient’s blood pressure, EKG, temperature, and oxygen levels are constantly monitored during the entire surgical procedure. Each animal is treated as an individual and every possible precaution is taken to ensure that they are safe.
