Born and raised in Charleston, Dr. Ashlyn Spitz is a low-country native.
She attended Clemson University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Science and a minor in Business Administration. From there, she attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to obtaining her doctorate and graduating with honors, she obtained certificates in both Veterinary Business Management and Shelter Medicine.
Dr. Spitz’s professional interests include internal medicine, nutrition, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. While she is passionate about her canine and feline patients alike, she takes a special interest in feline medicine and ensuring all her patients have a stress-free veterinary visit.
In her free time, Dr. Spitz enjoys traveling, college football, cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Her house is always lively, as she shares it with five crazy cats!
