Dr. Eve M. Badger is a 1988 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
A South Carolina native, she has lived in Charleston and has known members of the West Ashley team since she was nine years old. Upon graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Badger received the American Animal Hospital Association Award for Clinical Proficiency in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and The Upjohn Award for Proficiency in Veterinary Clinical Medicine. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Badger joined the staff of West Ashley Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Badger enjoys surgery, internal medicine, and hospital management. She strongly believes in building good relationships with patients, clients, and staff. She believes a highly trained and cohesive staff, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, high-caliber medical care, and a “stress-free” approach are crucial to providing the best possible experience for patients and their owners.
Dr. Badger’s interests include positive method animal training, travel, musical theater, movies, reading, and outdoor activities with her family and dogs. She is married and has a beautiful daughter. Once a basic agility competitor herself, she now enjoys watching her daughter train their family dogs and practice agility. She and her family share their home with two dogs, two rescue cats, and a goldfish named Speckles.
