Dr Hudgins was born and raised in Charleston and has always had a passion for caring for animals, big and small.
She grew up surrounded by her family's horses, dogs, and cats (and various other creatures).
After completing her undergraduate degree at Davidson College, Dr Hudgins went on to graduate from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine with Honors in 2006. Dr. Hudgins also completed her Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute in 2016, which is the same year she joined West Ashley Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Hudgins shares her home with her husband, their twin daughters, a Boykin, a fat cat, some goldfish, a Leopard gecko, and a couple of horses.
